Just Keep Swimming
To end my swimming years of high school I am glad it ended with a different goal than what I had in mind. I was planning on making it to divisionals again in the 100 backstroke but in the beginning of the season I volunteered to swim the 500 after the girl who was supposed to got sick. (If anyone does not know the 500 freestyle is 20 laps in a 25 meters.) I always swam this event sophomore and junior year and never progressed, so typically in this event no one wants to swim it including myself and when I watched all the freshman hide after Buzz asked who would like to swim I stepped up and took over. When I finally ended the race I had dropped 22 seconds from my junior time. From then on I swam it almost every weekend and once i made it to divisionals i had dropped 31 seconds! Once I finished in divisionals and beat out everyone in my heat with a strong finish I ended my season with 36 seconds off my time!

new york

this is the dress uncle steve and aunt lucy bought for me when we went to visit. in new york we mostly played wizard, laid out by the pool, went to dinner and hung around the house. one day we had breakfast at the fire station, surprisingly it was good and filling meal. the whole trip was a nice short vacation although i was a little sick.
